Cabify launched 2019 with huge news for environmental purposes: new water bottles 100% recyclable, one for each city they operate, and illustrated by several artists. Here’s my input to this project - the city of Porto.

AMII is a private, independent, non-profit, non-political, Portuguese NGO (non-governmental organisation) whose objective is to fight against poverty, social exclusion, underdevelopment, hunger and the consequences of war anywhere in the World.
Every year AMI sells the Kit Salva Livros - a product that is a kit of school supplies that a percentage of the cost reverts to kids and teenagers backed by the NGO. This illustration was created to be used on institutional communication materials.

I was invited by Y&R Lisbon to collaborate with them on a marketing campaign for Paladin - a Portuguese brand of sauces and seasonings, that would take place in Lisbon, during the major festivities of the city.

The aim was to create different icons for the neighbourhoods where the Paladin Arraial would take place and also a collection of spot illustrations that could be combined and placed on posters, flags, t-shirts and other merchandising pieces.

Some people say that when we come back from a trip we need some time to recover from those days and re-adjust to reality. But it also takes time to assimilate the experience, it may take longer to enter our memory, maybe because we don't want it to be a part of it, we want it to be a tangible and constant reality.
Ísland is a summary of the time I spent there in 2015, looking at it from a far distance, two months later.

This project was developed for Vicino, an authentic Italian restaurant in Barceloneta neighbourhood, in sunny Barcelona.
The client proposal was to make a mupi poster to be located at Barceloneta Metro station so potential clients could easily be guided by the "aroma" and find their way to the pizza bar on a simple map style illustration.
